On Starting Your New Blog

While setting up this blog 2Xtreme Blogger, I couldn’t help but notice how blogging has changed in just a few short months. Social media has really set itself up as a launching pad and media stream for your blog. My last postwas tweeted on twitter (thanks) WoW! That hasn’t happened before. Then the same article Probably because of the tweet was pick up by Topsy.com a search engine for tweets. So, how cool is that?

Twitter tools was one of the first plugins that I set up. I really love blogging and twitter is a micro blog which helps add content to this site. Only as long as I Tweet. The same goes for your blog. Without content the search engine will pass your site by. With that said…

Don’t worry… just blog

Are you planning on starting a blog soon?  Or are you setting up a blog but haven’t written any content yet?

What are you waiting for? Just start blogging! Procrastination will never get you anywhere. If you know your niche then you shouldn’t have any worries. If you are afraid that your writing sucks… Don’t worry about it the more you write the better you will get. The important thing is just do it.

A little about the back end…

The back end of things is what will take up some time. The very first plugin I installed was the all in one seo. this little plugin is awsome. To set up plugins just go to your left side bar in the admin area and scroll down to plugins. from there you should be able to do a plugin search for any plugin you want.  Word press allows you to install and activate the plugin right form your admin area. This eliminates uploading to your content/plugins file. 

It doesn’t really matter about getting every thing set up right now before you start blogging. Find or purchase a theme, set up the all in one seo plugin and twitter tools if you twitter and just launch your blog. The rest will come with a little patience. I am currently still tweaking my theme,  adding new plugins everyday and writing , researching content for more blog posts.

Tomorrow I will be setting up social networks and writing content.

Blogging will never end.
