What if you can take one task, let’s say writting sales messages for this example and create a simple “production formula” that will help you write your sales letters, email promotion copy, newsletters adverts and articles like Ford rolls out Mustangs from it’s assembly lines?

When I first began selling online I started on Ebay. I learned quick the power of the written word. By changing the way I wrote my listing descriptions from feature type writing like ”here is the produc,t it is brand new, now bid“.

To writing benefits style “here is what this product can do for you” and allowing the benefits create a picture for the bidder that they most desired from having the product. It wasn’t uncommom seeing a bidding war on my listings after I changed the style of writing.

Anyway…

Here’s the “Production Formula” method:

Here’s the idea… It’s very simple, but don’t let simplicity fool you for a second.

You’ve heard the saying, “Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.” You almost certainly know that is a myth.

They second key is much more direct: Build a Better Offer!
Then beat a path to the doors of people who already want it.

If you make the right offer to the right prospect at the right time, you can have the worst copy in the world and still make a fortune. The way to do this is as simple as the rest of this system, and just as non-intuitive.

–> Write the sales letter before you create the product. <–

You don’t have to write a sales letter. Really, you just need to do your research, write out the features, create the benefits and write a sales message. The rest of the story will fall into place if you write it around your main benefits.

Start by listing every single desire your research has uncovered. Then create your sales message, promise your prospect specific ways to fix those problems or satisfy those wants and desires.

By taking the same research and benefits you can also spin your sales letter into more creative content:

Articles

email copy

newsletter ads and article copy

Blog posts

forum messages

twitters and social media content

All that from one little sales message.

Things changes fast on the Internet, it is impossible to keep up with every thing that goes on. If your an affiliate marketer, product creator, blogger, list builder or some one looking to make more money from your Internet endevours, it’s hard to keep up with the demand of content creation. Changing things up and creating a “Assembly line” from all your content that is more automatic than you think, seems to be the way to go.

Luckly Robert Plank has created a such a production line for writing not just sales letters but anything you need to write, even homework becomes much, much faster Click hereto learn more.

How would you do it? Leave your reply in the comment box below. Then…

If you had to narrow it down to just one quality to succeed as a blogger what would it be? Here is my answer and quick strategy for blogging success...

The other day I was on a commenting tour of some of my favorite blogs. I do this every week to get a little pr and possibly a little traffic and maybe a back link or two to this blog. But, mostly to leave my two cents. I am a very chatty person any way. So there is a freebie tip for you other bloggers out there.

I stopped by Nichole Deans “Online business success blog” If you don’t know who Nichole Dean, you need to check out her blog. It’s great. Here is a hint: she used to be “Jimmy D. Brown’s” affiliate manager.

Oops, I might have gave away the farm…

Any way she was asked a really good question, What is the One Quality you Must Have to Succeed in Online Business?

As I was writing a quick comment, it hit me!

What was it… no it wasn’t my wife, (he-he), it was this blog post.

Here is another tip: you can get some really good creative idea’s for articles and blog posts, just by commenting on other peoples blogs. It happens to me all the time and it can happen to you! Just leave some comments on blog topics that you like.

So, if you like the topic of this post, leave a really good comment, really, let me have it…

OK enough begging, back to the post…

If I had to narrow it down to just one quality to succeed in business online or off it would be to Focus.

However, many other things need to be in order before hand. I would focus all my endeavours like a laser focuses on cutting a diamond or like Google PPC ad’s focuses on your target market.

If you are focusing on moving your business forward I would make the toughest task my first order of business. I remember listening to Brian Tracey several years ago about “Eating that Frog”. You know what a frog looks like… don’t you? If you were to eat that frog first thing before doing anything else, eating that frog would be the worse thing that you could do the rest of the day.

Here is a strategy as a blogger you can do to help make you focus more on your blog.

Create your daily blog post first not last. For me this is my frog. Once I can get the post out of the way then my day seems to go a whole lot better.

Stick to a daily traffic schedule that works. Here is how mine may look.

Monday: Write 5 articles for article marketing purposes.

Tuesday: Edit 5 articles and submit them to article directories. Research blog post topics

Wednesday: Start commenting on four blogs. Every day the rest of the week.

Thursday: Write blog post and schedule them through the week. By writing a weeks worth of blog post in a day will allow you to focus more time doing other thing.

Friday: This is the day that I catch up on other task. You decide what you want to do here and the remainder of the week end.

That’s it, except for one more tip that I learned from Jimmy D. Brown.

Don’t check your email until your daily business task have been completed. Also try not to purchase any products until Friday.

What is the One Quality you Must Have to Succeed in Online Business? Comment.

Up to this point you have given your readers a ton of tips, tricks, strategies and some great takeaways...

One problem I have seen a lot with sales pitches and closes is that when some product owners say’s:

that there will only be 250 sold…

or this offer will expire on (blank date and time)…

or they mention in the sales letter that they will be removing this incredable offer in 5 days and don’t…

Well… you have probably seen such pitches that product owners pitch and leave them up a few days longer, just to make a few more sales.

The other day, I look at a product that a certain “I wont mention any names here”, owner had. Sign up to the list and was directed to a one time only page. The product wasn’t bad from what I read on the sales copy.

However, for whatever reason I didn’t need it.

So, I decided to test the owner’s truthfulness copy and pasted the url into note pad and saved it to my desk top. Then I refreshed my cache, pasted the url into the address bar and wallah, the offer was still there. To be honest and fair, I still might buy the product.

Product owners need a way to automate this process so they won’t have to do it manually. Every one including the product owners have a life too and are busy.

Up to this point you have given your readers a ton of tips, tricks, strategies and some great takeaways… (which ever one or all fits).

With that said, here are a few rules that I live by on how to pitch and close the right way.

Rule #

Give a lot of information away for Zilch, Nada, nothing and free. This is where a lot of blogger go wrong. They want to save what they might consider “Secrets” for a sale. Instead give away your secrets. If your readers use and reap the rewards from what you might teach them, they will buy your information or products that you suggest.

This creates…

      2. Trust: Without trust from your audience you will lose readers, list members and traffic . Creating trust in your most precious asset. Don’t screw it up.

      3. Stick to your Guns: When you make an offer for something and you say you will pull it down at a certain time do it.

Or You will only allow 300 purchases of your product stick to your guns and take the offer down.

If you have a one time offer, only offer it one time. You can always repeat the offer at a later date or to new subscribers.

Do you make some of the mistakes mentioned in this posting? If so, how do you plan on making the changes?

I will be only allowing 10 comments on this post then I will close it for good.

Comment!
