Writing content is something that makes most of us feel like we are back in our high school English class struggling over our assignments. If you plan on becoming a successful blogger then you are eventually going to need to write. Pod casting and video’s have there place, but writing content is still king on the Internet.

Don’t worry though… writing content is easier than pouring over pages of Ivanhoe or war and peace. Both are great books and when you have time you should try to read them.

Writing winning content that sells can be simple and quick when you follow my five simple steps.

Research

Before you write a sentence you should get your research done first. Your content should flow from one idea to another and you will have no clue what those idea’s are until you finish your research.

2. Create a road map

Start your creation process with a good outline. Getting organized is the most important part of writing winning content that sells quickly. By writing an outline and organizing your research, you will be able to work through your pages quickly. This means you wont have to stop and think about what you are writing because you have your outline to follow.

3. Become a story teller

Try to share personal stories and examples. It is a lot easier to write about your experiences and experiences of others than trying to explain a concept out right. I draw a lot of inspiration from the Bible. Jesus, did this when explaining about heavenly things to his disciples and others.

4. Quite your brain

there are two spheres to your brain. The creative side and the critical side. The critical side can get in your way when writing creatively, it will tell you to fix that sentence or your paragraph isn’t good enough. Your writing will go much more quickly when you quite your critical self before writing creatively. For some this can be an easy task. yet, for others this can be near impossible.

5. Edit

Even if you were the worse English student in your class, you could quickly and easily write your winning content that sells when you read your content out loud. Reading your content out loud will over ride your brains tendency to fill in the mistakes with the right words. By doing this your editing will go a lot quicker so you can get that winning sells copy out to your audience.

Article marketing this my numero uno, favorite ways to drive traffic to my site. With article marketing you don’t need to be a writer. You just need to be able to write 300 to 800 words articles about your niche. Then submit your articles to article directories for inclusion.

The hardest part of this aside from writing the article itself is to write your resource box.

About the Box: Your resource box needs to be as compelling as your article header. If it isn’t then you have wasted your time on writing the article in the first place. Here’s why A successful resource box will contain your name, your website address and information about you that shows the reader that you are an expert in your niche. It will also have a call to action.

This call to action is what will make your reader go to your website to find out more information. The important thing to remember is to not give away all of your information in your article. Instead, write enough to fulfill the article requirements and let your resource box do the rest.

Here’s an example:

William Cato is an affiliate, direct response marketer, freelance writer and an Extreme Blogger Visit his website:2ultra.com presents ad-copy secrets revealed to find more great articles like this that you can use in your ezines, newsletters and blogs.

Be sure to include this resource box when you use any of William’s articles or blog posts. If you like this blog post or any post on this blog you can go ahead and use it on your blog, ezine or newsletter. Just be sure that my resource box is included at the end of the article(s).

This is an old resource box I used last year on ezine articles dot com. Today I would use a resource box that looks more like this…

I like what E. M. Forster stated: “How do I know what I think until I see what I say?”

I was just at Copy Bloggers blog reading a post that he posted, 3 Quick steps to clear writing. It really is a fast read. I also left a comment there. After I left the comment I thought, man I should have left him this tip that I am posting here. I really thought about going back an re-commenting again, then… what the heck, I’ll just give it to you. Read on my friend.

Write with Focus…

When you want to write articles fast you need to know where you are going, this way you will stay on track with your writing. Your article will be more clearer than ever. Here is how to apply how to write with clarity.

1. When you know your subject sketch it out: All articles have a beginging, middle and end. With that said, all you have to do is draw a mind map or a write out a sketch/outline of the beggining of your article which more than likely is an introduction. Write five paragraphs for the beggining of your article and write each paragraph diffrently.

2. Think about the middle of your article. And repeat the writing lesson of step one. Give pro’s and cons or whatever you want to say that is interesting that will keep the reader reading.

3. Now to end the article. Repeat step one by writing 5 endings in diffrent ways. Write out the pro’s and con’s.

Now you have 5 diffrent articles on the same subject that you can use on ezine directories, blog posts and emails.

When you write with focus, remember to always sketch out your articles first with what you need to say or want to say and write out at least 5 diffrent begginings, middle and ends to your writing. This excercise allows your creative mind to express the diffrent points of views and keeps your creative mind from wondering all over the place.

Try it out. Once you take action on this excercise you will find that you actually focus on your article and not other things that may distract you like email or face book.

Remeber to let me know what you think by leaving a comment after you tried this focus excercise.

If you like this tip and want to learn more great writing tips like this then you need to get the “Write Fast system“. It is the only system I use now to write blog post and articles.

Remember to pick up your copy of the Write Fast system by clicking here now.

———————————————————————————————————-

Warning: This exercise requires very little (if any) effort on your part. But, will increase your productivity by 300%
———————————————————————————————————–

Relax… then get to it!

This strategy that will increase your content writing productivity

Before writing anything, a blog post, sales messages, articles, even a letter to your mother, you need to prepare your subconscious mind first. Once you actually do this exercise you will see an increase in your writing productivity. Instantly.

Here is what I do: After I have finished all of my research and preparing to sit down at the keyboard to begin writing…

I will take all of my hand written notes, research articles, sales copy, the important stuff and spend 30 minutes to an hour pouring over my work. Change nothing. Just read.

Once you are satisfied that you know your material the next step is to find a comfortable soft place to relax. No distractions. If this is impossible do this before going to bed. The main idea is to get relaxed before getting down to business.

As you relax, begin reflecting on your writing assignment. Re-reading your research work and adding it to your assignment. Focus on the finished work while asking your self some questions.

1. If I was the prospect what would be the biggest benefit?

2. What makes this product or service so damn exciting?

3. If this was a commercial what would the catch phrase be?

Then relax even more. Forget about your writing assignment. Just enjoy the quite time.

When doing this during the day and you can’t rest and get quite, don’t worry about it. Get away from your computer and do some chores. Do whatever you can to distract your self from writing or doing any creative activity.

Then, when you feel the urge get to it.

You’ll find that the words will begin to flow from your brain to that blank canvas that most writers dread to look at. With a little bit of practice your productivity will increase by as much or more than 300%.

Test this out yourself. Go ahead, give it a shot.

If you found value in this post leave a comment. Share some of your own tips that help you out of writers block or sluggish writing syndrome.
