Q: What is a blog any way?
A: A blog is a slang term for web log or web diary. It is a form of website that is maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary. Entries are usually displayed in reverse chronological order. Common blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject or micro niche.
Example: This blog 2Xtreme Blogger, is a blog that discuses how to blog for individuals or business that want to learn “how to” start, maintain and monetize there own blog. They also want to learn how to Increase there writing skills and market (monetize) there blog and or website on the Internet and offline in the real world.
One of the functions of a blog that makes them so darn popular is the ability for the reader to leave “comments”, which makes the whole experience for the reader and author a more interactive an personal experience. This is also the reason blogging is in the for-front of the social networking scene.
Q: What are some types of blogs?
A:There are many types of blogs on the Internet today and probably more to come. The most common are:
