William Cato, has been studying  copywriting / marketing and blogging since 2005.

 I am a plumber by trade and write in my spare time often.

I got a taste of internet marketing in the Fall of 1999. That is when my wife Helen and I purchased a failing local ISP and web hosting company “Galaxy-web”. We changed the name to “Ultra Internet” because of the bad reputation  associated with previous owner.

We serviced local users and hotels with dial-up and sold web hosting packages internationally.

We sold the business in 2001, to another local ISP. 

I went back to work as a plumber and my Helen went back to collage to finish out her degree in English and computer science.

Like most internet marketers today, I got my start buying and selling on Ebay. I notice that when I added power words to my titles and descriptions, something wonderful began to happen… traffic and bids would increase. This is what led to the studying copywriting.
